Could There Possibly Be an Apple T.V.?

AppleTVrumors_610x426.jpg

Would you pay extra for an Apple T.V.? Well, in a recent survey, it showed that costumers are willing to pay more than 20% higher than an average T.V.Over 47% of people are interested. Is it definite that they are making the Apple iTV, no but CEO Tim Cook confirmed it is an area of interest. This is the only hint that the CEO would give. If you look at the numbers, making this Apple iTV would have an opportunity to ship over 13 million units just in the USA. This would sell for around $1,000 and would project 13 billion dollars, which could increase largely if they were successful overseas.Imagine that, and Apple T.V.

My Opinion: I think this is a great idea and will generate a lot of money. Also I think it would be pretty cool to have an Apple T.V. in my home, possibly to high-tech though.

Discussion Questions

Discussion Questions to be Posted on your own blog

1.Why did you select the sites you subscribed to?

I selected the sites I subscribed to because I picked the ones that caught my eye and matched my interest. Also, I picked the ones that were the most informative.

2.Was it easy to find feeds and to subscribe to them?

Some of them were easy and "punched you in the face'' while others were difficult and presented a challenge to find them.

     3.Which sites were your favorites?

All of my personal sites were my favorites. I wasn't a fan of the news.

4.What else can you use RSS feeds for?

You can use an RSS feed to follow and keep track of a favorite team, to discover jobs, and even locate houses in the area for sale.

5.How likely are you to continue to use RSS feeds in the future?

To be honest, I will probably use it to get sport news once in a while, but other than that, not  very frequently

Cunning fox grabs smartphone, sends text

800px-R%C3%A4v_vid_Revhusen_i_Ystad_-_Juli_2012._610x438.jpg

A normal thing for a fox is probably to hunt for rabbits, sleep, and drink from ponds, right? Well, this cunning fox likes to text, yes i said text. The fox took 16-year-old Lars Andreas Bjercke's phone, after it was playing dying rabbit noises, and ran away. This text message that the crazy fox wrote says "jlv l øi\a0ab 34348tu åaugjoi zølbmosdji jsøg ijio sjiw'' Notice how only two of those words are invalid. Could this mean we aren't the only creatures addicted to texting? Maybe so.

$2.4 Million Air-Conditioned Limo Submarine Perfect For 007

Click HERE For Link

C-Explorer 5

Do like Limos?Well I'm pretty sure most people like limos. Do you like subs? No, not the sandwiches, the submarines! Well if you answered yes to both of those questions, now you can have both, all in one! The C-Explorer 5 is just that. It has an air-conditioning system, and could hold 5 people! It could travel 3 knots underwater! You can also add options like an iPod surround system, LED lights, a sampling arm, and even a H-D video camera system.

My Opinion: This is a really good idea and very different and cool, if your willing to pay 2 million dollars!

Why the next Nintendo portable needs to be a      tablet

 Click Here For Link

Did you know that somewhere near the Wii U and the iPad mini lies the next Nintendo tablet?
The Nintendo Wii U comes out in just a couple days, just in time for Thanksgiving-time shopping. It has a 6-inch touch screen. It has a gyroscope. It has buttons. It's is like a gaming system, and a tablet in one.
The Wii U  may even seem like more of an expanded game handheld than a tablet, a super-large-screen Nintendo DS without the dual screens, but it's an in-home accessory with the need to pair to a Wii U console in order to operate. You can use it in another room, but not in a car or somewhere out of the Wii U's wireless range. The Wii U with  costs $299.
The iPad Mini starts at $329. It debuted a couple of weeks ago. It has a 7.9-inch screen. It can play games, play movies, play apps, surf the Web, check e-mail. And it doesn't need to pair with a console.
Educational possibilities are endless. Nintendo could make software, like Brain Age, tuned specifically to educational entertainment. A  tablet could use devices like the LeapFrog, if the correct educational investments were made.
My Opinion: I think Nintendo should make a new tablet. I think it would be different and great for children.

          An Impact-Sensing Cap for Sports

 Click HERE for link

Just so these hits don't hurt as bad.

From Cambridge, Massachusetts, they invented a new, easy way to measure impacts taken to the
head.
It has a skull-fitted head cap equipped with sensors and stretchable electronics that can be worn
with or without helmets.
This product will be available in early 2013 and will come in red, yellow, or green.
It’s not only about football, about 30 million people in the United States participate in sports—
including hockey, lacrosse, skiing, snowboarding, and cycling—that often involve the use of helmets.
Add helmet-free sports like basketball and soccer, where collisions and hard falls are also common,
and the total participants in the United States is above 50 million.

MY OPINION: I think this is a good idea and will make the game much safer and less injuries will happen

App tells when to go the bathroom during movies and not miss much.

RunPee provides the best windows for running to the restroom and even fills you in on what you've missed.

RunPee spells relief for movie freaks.
(Credit: Screenshot by Eric Mack/CNET)
It's best not to watch that freaky, edge-of-your-seat scary flick with a full bladder. Wouldn't it be nice if you didn't have to miss a key scene (or screw it up for your aisle-mates) when you dashed to the bathroom?
No need to fear however, there's an app for that.
It's called RunPee.What the app does is let you know the best times during a film to go to the restroom. It identifies the best windows to run to the restroom without missing  important moments. RunPee will even vibrate in your pocket to let you know when one of the relief windows is about to start, and fills you in on what you've missed when you're done.So basically now you can have that extra large soda you always crave at the movies , without missing key parts!!!

My Opinion: I think its a good idea but I think it shows how extremely lazy and spoiled our nation has become. I feel like every question I ask, It is replied,''Oh, Wait, There's an app for that."

Wiki Research

1. A class wiki could be used for educational purposes by more people can work on the same thing at the same time and share ideas. This could help for projects, reports exc.)

2. A benefit of using wiki could be multi-people friendly meaning multiple people can go on and edit at the same time

3. Our class can use a wiki by working in groups, and doing a huge project together, at the same time.

4. I don't have any experience creating wikis, but when i went on Wikipedia, it was very devious, in my opinion.

Stunning meteor showers light up California sky

Recently, in Oakland, California, streaking fireballs lighting up California skies and stunning stargazers are all put of a MAJOR meteor shower, but the show is just getting started, says observers.

imgres.jpg
It crashed through the earth's atmosphere, ''setting the air on fire in its wake," Jonathan Braidman said.National Weather Service forecaster Steve Anderson tells the Tribune that warm temperatures and cloud-free skies are making the bright lights more visible, a phenomenon that should only increase as the weekend approaches and the shower continues.

The fireballs are part of the large, fast Orionid meteor shower, so-named because it has the Orion constellation as a backdrop.

I was able to find an interesting but delayed video on this sight. It will explain how it came from Hailey's Comet.

My Opinion: I found this very interesting and after I watched this video, I thought to myself, ''WOW, I wish I lived in California, and not to mention, WHY IS THIS VIDEO SO LAGGY!!!!

New iPhone 5 Case Offers to Fix
                             Purple Flares

An iPhone case maker has come up with a new design that offers to keep stray light from creating purple halos in photos and videos.

Fotodiox, an Illinois-based company, has a new cover out called the camHoodie ($24.95) that promises to "greatly reduce purple lens flare."
There's no magic so don't worry, just a piece of rubber that acts as a lens  to keep stray light from coming in. It's held on by a case designed to keep the back and sides of the phone from getting damaged. As you can see in the picture above there is a picture of an iPhone 5 with the case and a photo taken by an iPhone 5 without camHoodie. If you look below you can see a picture with the case on.

Another example on the camera difference in video.

My Opinion~ i like this product because I have the same problem and I like the idea.

Curiosity rover pauses to                        get the scoop on Mars

NASA's mars rover has paused to collect soil on fine-grained sand dunes. After creeping near 500 yards across the rocky floor of Gale Crater on the way to an interesting intersection of different terrain, the Mars Curiosity rover is pausing for a few weeks to scoop up soil and run it through the vehicle's sample acquisition system to clean out any lingering traces of Earth's environment.

After three such "rinse and repeat" cycles, a scoop on the end of the rover's robot arm will deposit small samples into itself. A machine will use X-ray's to identify the minerals in a sample. But first, all traces of Earth's environment must be cleaned away to eliminate any chance of contaminating a Mars sample.

My Opinion: I think it is pretty cool that the curiosity rover can do this work. This makes astronauts lives much safer and easier. I can't wait to see what it finds.
